Magnetic World

Terms

The rules of the game, in plain language.

The game

The Magnetic World Passport is a free promotional game run by Magnetic World Music Festival across Atlantic Canada. Scanning the QR earns points, stamps, and draw entries. Points and stamps have no cash value, can't be bought, sold, or transferred, and exist only inside the game.

Prizes and verification

All prize claims are subject to verification. We may check that stamps behind a claim happened in real places, at plausible times, on one passport per person, before releasing any prize. And may withhold a prize where they didn't. This is the one rule that keeps the game worth playing for everyone else.

Prizes that involve entry to a venue or event may have age requirements; entrants under the age of majority need a parent or guardian to complete a claim.

Fair play

Photos you share

Photos you submit to the wall stay yours. By submitting, you give the festival a non-exclusive licence to display them on the wall and in passport pages, after review. We can decline or remove any photo, and you can ask for yours to come down at any time. Photos are deleted 90 days after the festival unless you opt to keep them.

Tickets

Festival tickets are sold by Fever, not by the Passport. Ticket purchases are governed by Fever's own terms, and playing the game is never required to buy a ticket. Nor the other way around.

The boring parts

The game is offered as-is and may change, pause, or end. Shops join and leave the network throughout the run. These terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada. If we update the terms, the date below changes and the current version always lives at this address.
